About Marigold Fine
Marigold Fine is a video producer / filmmaker, and has been successfully involved in all aspects of video production since 1984.
She created Full Circle Productions, one of the few women owned and operated video production companies in the Monterey Bay area.
Her educational, promotional videos and award-winning documentaries have been seen internationally.
Marigold has received the following awards:
- WAVE Award for Excellence in cable access programming
- World Peace Film Festival Award Commendation
- Award of Excellence, Berkeley Film & Video Festival
- Action/Cut Short Film Festival Commendation
Her work has been screened at the Santa Cruz Film Festival, World Peace Film Festival, Berkeley Film & Video Festival, San Francisco Short Film Festival, Action/Cut Short Film Festival, and Earthvision Environmental Film Festival.
Marigold’s background includes cable television production and production assistance for Columbia Pictures and Universal Studios.
She has been a SPECTRA Artist In The Schools through the Cultural Council of Santa Cruz County since 1990.
Marigold is also a freelance writer and scriptwriter, and has been an advertising copywriter.
She received a degree in Journalism & Communications from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
Marigold sees video/film as a tool for empowerment and transformation.
Her interest is positive, life-affirming media with inspiring images — merging creativity, sensitivity and technology.
